Virtual Trip to:
Dec 8-10, 1999
Well, after two days of trying to find these hot springs, and taking every trail option I had, I concluded that the map I was using was far from accurate. The only way out was to go back the the way I came. I climbed back up the back side of the mountain. Luckily, I found a small trickle of a running water , so I never had to drink the stagnant reservoir water. After about 4-5 hours of climbing I arrived back on a paved road. I had gone over thirty hours without seeing or hearing another human.
This was the first human I encountered.
I barely had a chance to say hi. Within a minute he was running
off this cliff.
Hey, nice to meet you.
He sailed in the air for more than 15 long minutes. It was all
downhill from here.
